Dakota Tree Project does not plant during the summer months because newly planted trees cannot withstand the heat. Planting season is October through April. Please contact us to set up a planting by emailing info@dakotatreeproject.org
Volunteer as a school group
As a class or school club, get together to plant, care for, and learn about trees! Use this as a bonding opportunity for students, an informational session about the importance of trees, or a chance to get in a few community service hours.
Clubs and classes may request volunteering information for your group via the sign up form at right.

Volunteer as an organization
Companies, service clubs, and nonprofits looking to do good in their communities can get involved by booking an event using the form to the right. Bring your community together to help another. With a large number of volunteers from an organization, the work goes faster and more can be done efficiently. We would love to have your help in planting and maintaining trees in Albuquerque’s urban canopy.

Volunteer as a Family or small group
To volunteer as a family or with friends, please sign up for an existing event with other families and individuals. Bringing families and friends together means that more can be accomplished in a day of work. Volunteering for families includes planting and caring for trees, providing valuable help to our operation.
